diabetes - day five
Asanas for organs affected by diabetes
Today's exercises help you stretch and twist your body and are very effective for the treatment of diabetes. They especially stretch the internal organs, increasing the blood supply to these areas and to the whole endocrine system. This helps the organs and glands affected by diabetes to function more efficiently. They particularly squeeze the pancreas, forcing it to secrete more insulin. But remember that these exercises have to be done regularly to be effective.
Cautions: Those with hernia or hyper-thyroidism should avoid these postures. Those with severe back problems should be careful or should avoid them altogether.

• Repeat with the other side.
