Asanas that stretch the lower abdomen
The lower abdominal region works hand in hand with the lower back to give you freedom of movement. Sex should be an art and not a machine-like movement. Flexibility of your lower back and lower abdomen allows the pelvic region to move gracefully and smoothly with minimum strain. Practicing these exercises will stretch and tone your lower abs. Not only will you feel good about the state of your body but this will help make your sexual performance more controlled and beautiful rather than mechanical and boring.
Caution: Should be avoided by those with a weak heart, high blood pressure, hernia, colitis, peptic or duodenal ulcers and severe back conditions.
Exercise 1

Exercise 1
• Lie flat on your stomach, your feet together and your arms by your side
• Bend one knee
• Reach back with both hands and clasp the ankle
• Inhale and raise the upper body while tensing the leg muscles and push your feet away from the body
• Hold for 10-20 seconds, breathing normally
• Exhale and slowly come back to start position.
Exercise 2

Exercise 2
• Lie on your stomach with your arms bent, palms placed below shoulders and elbows tucked in. Keep your toes tucked in. Keep the chin on the floor
• Inhale and raise one leg as high as you can
• Hold for 10-30 seconds, breathing normally
• Exhale and slowly lower the leg
• Repeat with the other side.
Exercise 3

Exercise 3
• Lie on stomach with chin on floor and the palms under the thighs
• Inhale and raise both legs as high as you can
• Hold for a few seconds
• Exhale and slowly lower the legs.
Exercise 4

Exercise 4
• Lie flat on your stomach, your legs together and your arms beside the body
• Bend one knee
• Reach back with the arm of the same side and grasp the ankle
• Inhale and raise the upper body while tensing the leg muscles and pushing your foot away from the body
• Stretch out the opposite arm as shown
• Hold for 10-20 seconds, breathing normally
• Exhale, release and come down.
